BRACKEN RIDGE CENTRAL LIONS CLUB

District 201Q3, Queensland, Australia

About Us

Bracken Ridge is an outer northern suburb of Brisbane that has a growing population due to its accessibility to transport, shopping facilities and proximity to the Gateway Motorway for transit to the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. The Bracken Ridge Central Lions Club not only serves Bracken Ridge but also the surrounding suburbs such as Bald Hills, Fitzgibbon and Brighton.

Many of our members do not live in the suburb of Bracken Ridge but come from the outer northern areas of Brisbane and feel that our club offers the best combination of allowing community and social activity to take part in their busy lives.

To Join the Bracken Ridge Central Lions Club and to help your community, all you need to do is have a chat to one of our members, attend a couple of our gatherings (both social and club meetings) to make sure you like us, and then fill out an application form to be presented to the board for approval with a formal induction into the club at a later date.

Our Club meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month. The first Tuesday is a Social Meeting, informal and relaxed. The third Tuesday is a more formal gathering and is a dinner meeting, often with a guest speaker, informing members on a wide range of topics. The second Tuesday of each month is allocated to a Board Meeting where Board Members are required to attend however all members are welcome to attend if they so desire.

Membership is open to men and women over the age of 18 years and of good moral character and reputation.
